Berekum Chelsea defensive midfielder, Emmanuel Essiam has joined Swiss giant FC Basel.
The 18-year old has joined the 20-time Swiss national champions on a four and half year deal after fruitful negotiations.[ads2]
Essiam completed the deal on Monday, followed by his unveiling and official announcement.
He has joined FC Basel following a stellar career with Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League.
Esiam was member of the Ghana U20 team that won the Africa U20 championship last year in Mauritania.[ads3]
He made only two appearances for Berekum Chelsea in the ongoing league season before traveling to Switzerland to complete the deal.[ads5]
