Nigeria top-flight league side Enyimba FC have opened negotiations with former Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender Daniel Darkwah, Kyfilla.com can exclusively reveal.
Darkwah was granted the permission to leave Asante Kotoko today after the player’s agent wrote to the management of the Kumasi based side for a possible transfer.
According to reliable source, the left back was part of the Asante Kotoko 27-man squad for the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign but was axed after he confirmed to be transferred.
Kyfilla.com can exclusively reveal that, the Aba Warriors are inches away to secure the services of the 26-year old after leaving Asante Kotoko.
Enyimba FC are preparing for the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign and believe with the inclusion of the experienced left back will be of a great help.
Daniel Darkwah joined Asante Kotoko on a two-year deal in January, 2018 from Aduana Stars but struggled to replicate his form to the Kumasi based side.
