Ashanti Gold CAF Confederation Cup game against Equatorial Guinea side Akonangui FC has been slated for August 10, 2019.
The Miners will travel to Equatorial Guinea for the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round on August 10 before hosting the return leg fixture in Obuasi.
Ashanti Gold gained a qualification to the CAF Confederation Cup after winning the NC Special Competition tier 2 whilst Akonangui FC won the 2019 Equatorial Guinea Cup.
Both teams will be meeting for the very first time in the history of the CAF inter-club competitions.
