Astute gaffer Kobina Amissah has rescinded his decision to vacate the coaching job at Goldstars FC.
The former Elmina Sharks gaffer made it known on Kumasi-based Wontumi TV that he has tendered in his resignation letter to the management of Goldstars FC on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 after Kyfilla.com had earlier broke the news.
He didn’t cite the reasons for his decision but added that the management of Goldstars FC have not responded to his letter.
But reports reaching Kyfilla.com indicate that coach Kobina Amissah has rescinded his decision few hours after tendering in his resignation letter.
The Chief Executive Officer of Goldstars FC, Mr. Kwasi Adu has also confirmed that the coach is still at post.
He said on Takoradi-based Connect FM that, “It’s not true our coach has resigned. He is currently training with the team for the next games ahead. His comments was a slip of tongue and there is nothing like resignation.”
Meanwhile, Goldstars FC are currently leading the zone two of the division one league after twenty matches with 47 points, 8 points separating them and second placed team Skyy FC.
