Black Stars head coach CK Akonnor has released three players from the team’s camp ahead of Morocco friendly game.
Ghana will be traveling to Morocco to face the Atlas Lions in a friendly before hosting Ivory Coast at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
But according to Oyerepa FM, coach Akonnor has released Asante Kotoko defender Abdul Ganiyu, Great Olympics midfielder Gladson Awako and Medeama talisman Rashid Nortey ahead of the Morocco trip.
The three players have been released from the Black Stars camp to their respective clubs for this weekend Ghana Premier League matches.
This weekend comes with crucial league matches and the clubs will need their best players for the games hence the decision to release the three players from the Black Stars camp to their respective clubs.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars are expectesd to leave the shores of Ghana for Morocco on Sunday for the friendly game on June 8, 2021 before hosting Ivory Coast on June 12, 2021.[ads5]
