Head coach of the Black Stars, CK Akonnor has handed invitation to two players to strengthen the team’s squad.
Ghana face South Africa and Sao Tome and Princepe in upcoming AFCON qualifiers set for March this year.[ads2]
Akonnor has handed call-ups to Darlin Pro forward Emmanuel Boateng and Mubarak Wakaso of Jiangsu Sunning in China.
The duo are to report for camping on Thursday as the team prepare for the upcoming double-header next month.[ads3]
Meanwhile, coach CK Akonnor has slashed down the Ghana squad from 32 to 26, axing eight players from the team.
Elmina Sharks goalkeeper Bawa Lord Martey has been dropped alongside Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan, Ebusua Dwarfs duo of Ben Acquah and George Asamoah.[ads4]
