Astute businessman Christopher Damenya has been elected as the new Asante Kotoko National Circles Chairman on Saturday afternoon.

Damenya who is an ardent supporter of the Porcupine Warriors has been voted as the new leader of the club during a keenly contested elections held at the club’ Secretariat in Kwadaso of the Ashanti region today.
He beat off competition from Solomon Ofosu Ware to emerge the new Chairman of the Kotoko supporters union.
Christopher Damenya pulled 209 votes during the election against Solomon Ofosu Ware’s 118 votes in 329 votes casted.

He has taken over the mantle from out gone Mr. Kweku Amponsah popularly known as Chairman K5 for the next stipulated years.
