Ghana Premier League giant Asante Kotoko will host Al Hilal from Sudan in the first leg of the CAF Champions League second preliminary round on Wednesday.
The Porcupine Warriors face Al Hilal on Wednesday, December 23 at the Accra Sports Stadium before the reverse fixture in Sudan.[ads2[
Asante Kotoko managed to eliminate Mauritanian side Nouadhibou FC in the first preliminary round and will have to boot out Al Hilal to make the group stages.
Asante Kotoko go into the game without their substantive gaffer Maxwell Konadu who was sacked due to the team’s poor performance in the league.[ads3]
Kotoko host Al Hilal with much confidence after beating Dreams FC by a goal to nil in Dawu in the Ghana Premier League last weekend.
