The CAF Champions League game between Al Hilal and Asante Kotoko have been called off.
Asante Kotoko were supposed to have played Al Hilal in the second leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round in Omdurman but the game has been called off.[ads2]
This cagey encounter has been called off due to Coronavirus cases at the camp of the two clubs.
Asante Kotoko had seven of their players testing positive for the devastating disease alongside four of their officials as announced by the club.[ads3]
As to who qualify to the next stage of the competition remains unknown as the two clubs await a decision from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
A statement from Asante Kotoko reads, “Al Hilal vrs Asante Kotoko Game called off as we await CAF decision. Asante Kotoko has officially petitioned CAF on the overwhelming anomalies Association with our covid 19 results .[ads4]

Asante Kotoko lost the first leg in Ghana by a goal to nil and needed to return the deficit before making it to the next stage of the competition..[ads5]
