Algerian side JS Saoura will take on Hearts of Oak in second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup playoff round behind closed doors on Sunday.
The Bechar-based club had written to CAF to allow them admit fans to the stadium for the epic game against the reigning Ghana Premier League champions.[ads2]
But CAF has ordered that the game be played behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Algeria.
According to reports, any person supposed to be inside the inner perimeter will need to have a COVID-19 pass kit before they will be allowed. Thus security guards, photographers, Health officials will be checked before the game. Also, few Sports journalists will be allowed to enter the Stadium.[ads3]
Hearts of Oak defeated JS Saoura 2:0 in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium and will have to eliminate the Algerian outfit to secure a ticket to the group stage of the competition.[ads5]
