The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced new date for Asante Kotoko Champions League clash against Nouadhibou FC.
Asante Kotoko were supposed to have played Nouadhibou FC in the second leg tie of the CAF Champions League at the Accra Sports Stadium Saturday afternoon.[ads2]
But the match was called off by Togolese referee Komlanvi Aklassou called due to Coronavirus issues.
According to reporters, five players of Nouadhibou FC tested positive of the devastating disease with Asante Kotoko also recording a case.[ads3]
But Nouadhibou FC refused to isolate the infected players which led to an impasse between them and the officiating officials.
However, CAF has announced that the match will be played on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Asante Kotoko drew 1:1 with Nouadhibou FC in the first leg tie in Mauritania with striker Osman Ibrahim scoring the goal for the Porcupines.[ads5]
