Management of Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks have dissolved the academy side of the club.

The decision comes following a friendly match that the academy team played with Sekondi Hasaacas at the Sekondi Sports Stadium today.
The match ended 4:0 in favor of Hasaacas who are feverishly preparing for the upcoming league season.

According to a release from the Communication Department of the Elmina based team, management were not aware of the friendly, even though there was a contact from the organizers of the match.
