Ghana Premier League powerhouse Hearts of Oak on Thursday March 4, 2021 secured a sponsorship deal with Sunon Asogli Power Limited.
The Phobians signed a year deal with the Ghanaian independent power production company with the contract subject to renewal.[ads2]
The one-year deal is worth $200,000. Upon signing the contract, Sunon Asogli Power Limited paid fifty percent (50%) of the amount to Hearts of Oak.
Twenty-five percent (25%) of the payment has been agreed to be made in the second installment while the remaining twenty-five percent will be made by Sunon Asogli Power Limited in the final installment.[ads3]
Sunon Asogli Power Limited is an independent power production company in Ghana.
The company privately owns the Sunon Asogli Thermal Power Station, also known as the Asogli Thermal Power Station which is a 560 MW (750,000 hp) natural gas-fired thermal power station in Ghana.
The power plant was the first privately-owned electricity generation installation in the history of Ghana.[ads4]
