The Youth and Sports Minister, honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah has revealed Ghana’s budget for the just ended AFCON 2019.
According to the minister, Ghana budgeted $6.3 million for the AFCON 2019 campaign but spent $4.5 million for reaching the round 16 stage of the competition.
He told the Parliament of Ghana today that “Ghana budgeted US$6.3 million for the Black Stars training camp and AFCON campaign. Out of that, 4.5 million dollars was used. The remaining US$1.7 million will be returned to the state”
