The government of Ghana has slashed down Black Stars winning bonus, Kyfilla.com has learnt.

According to Kofi Asare Brako who is the Special Aide to the sports minister Isaac Kwame Asiamah, the winning bonus of the Black Stars has been reduced from $10,000 to $5,000.
“The government has reduced the winning bonuses of the Black Stars from $10000 to $5000 which the players have accepted so,we can all bring back the love back for our national teams and especiallly the senoir national team the Black Stars”, he told Metro FM.

This means that, the Black Stars will now pocket $5,000 as winning bonus in the ongoing 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
