Ghana defeated the Ethiopians in the first game of the 2022 world cup qualifiers by a goal to nil at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Friday, September 3, 2021.[ads2]

Ghana was beaten 1:0 by South Africa on last Monday, September 6, 2021 at the First National Bank Stadium in Johannesburg.
It was the 83rd minute goal from Bongokuhle Hlongwane that ensured that South Africa defeat Ghana to clinch the three maximum points.
Ghana currently sit second on the table with three points same as Ethiopia who place third with South Africa at the summit with four points.[ads5]
