The Black Maidens and Black Princesses will continue with their camping despite 7 of the team’s members testing positive to coronavirus.
News broke that seven of the 61 players called for camping have tested positive after a mandatory test for all the players, technical and management team members before the camping resumed.
The two teams halted their camping when government directed all sporting engagement to seize due to the outbreak of the virus in the country March 15, 2020.

Five months down the line the two teams have revisited where they left off this time at a separate camping place to better position themselves ahead of the September qualifiers.
After converging on Friday, August 13 and going through the tests; the Government Health Directorate in charge of the coronavirus took all involved through a mandatory test which revealed seven players have tested positive.
Despite the news, camping will continue with the undisclosed covid-19 patients isolated to go through the recovery process.

It’s however unclear whether these players will be allowed to join the team after recovery or their slots will be replaced with other names.
Ghana’s case count has impressively controlled the spread of the virus with active cases currently 1,847 and a mammoth 40,567 recoveries – death counts stay at 239.
