Three national teams – Black Starlets (Male U-17), Black Princesses (Female U-20) and Black Maidens (Female U-17) – have been given the greenlight to begin camping ahead of their respective international assignments in September 2020.
This was contained in President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s update number 14 on measures taken against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic that was broadcasted on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
“Our female Under-20 and Under-17 national football teams have been given the clearance to go into their respective training camps to begin preparations towards their FIFA and CAF-sanctioned international matches, which begin in September, 2020.

“Whilst in training, the playing, technical and management teams must observe strictly all the protocols issued by Government, CAF and FIFA against COVID-19. All other team and contact sports, and competitive sporting events remain suspended till further notice,” the president said in his statement.
The Black Starlets are preparing for WAFU Championship slated for Benin in September whilst the Black Princesses prepare for FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Guinea-Bissaw and the Black Maidens shaping to face Nigeria in World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.

As directed by the Ghana FA, the Black Starlets will pitch camp at Glow-Lamp Academy, Maidens will train at Winneba while Black Princesses camp at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
But www.kyfilla.com is asking whether Glow-Lamp is advantageous for the Black Starlets as Ghana is determined to lift the trophy this time around after the Black Stars ‘B’ failed to defeat Senegal to clinch the giant trophy in 2019.
The Black Starlets have been pitching camp at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium all this while and are familiar with the environment unlike the Black Princesses who mostly train at Prampram.

If not training at Prampram since the venue is now being used as Coronavirus isolation centre, the Black Princesses will need a venue like Glow-Lamp which is more or less like Prampram.
Cape Coast Sports Stadium on the other hand is an open place where the ladies [Black Princesses] can be disturbed by spectators who will commute to the stadium to watch the Black Princesses train.
Kyfilla.com is suggesting that the Black Princesses be directed to Glow-Lamp while the Black Starlets be marched to their usual Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
