The Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo is confident midfielder Benjamin Afutu will stay at the club.
Most of the Hearts of Oak supporters have been rooting for the holding midfielder to renew his stay at the club following his supernatural performance this season.
Prior to the start of the season, it was reported in most of the local portals that Afutu has landed a deal with a team in Azerbaijan and will leave when his contract expires.
He has also been linked to other big clubs in Africa considering his top-notch performance this season for the Phobians.
Despite the growing rumours, Opare Addo in an interview with Opemsuo FM believes Benjamin Afutu will stay at Hearts of Oak and will not leave the club as being speculated in the media.
“I can assure you that Benjamin Afutu will play for Hearts. He will play for no other team than Hearts for now,” said Opare Addo on Opemsuo 104.7 fm evening sports show.[ads5]
