Hearts of Oak goalkeeper’s trainer, Ben Owu has resigned from the club with immediate effect.
The astute goalkeeper’s trainer has resigned from the Ghana Premier League club few minutes after head coach Kosta Papic left the team.[ads2]
Ben Owu cited personal reasons as basis for his resignation after one year with the Phobians.
He was appointed the goalkeeper’s trainer for Hearts of Oak in December 2019 from AshantiGold SC after his four years spell with the Miners came to an end.[ads3]
Owu has vast experience in the local terrain having been goalkeepers’ coach for Sekondi Hasaacas, Medeama SC and King Faisal Babies.
He becomes the 3rd person to leave his post in the Hearts of Oak technical department as assistant coach Asare Bediako also resigned last week.[ads5]
