B5 Plus Limited, in collaboration with DPS International and National Blood Service Ghana, successfully organised a blood donation exercise on 9th May 2026 as part of ongoing efforts to support healthcare delivery and save lives through voluntary blood donation.

The exercise commenced after the medical team arrived at approximately 9:00 a.m., with all preparations completed ahead of the official start time of 9:43 a.m. Throughout the day, donors were taken through a smooth and well-coordinated four-step process involving the completion of medical forms, haemoglobin testing, medical screening, and blood collection.
To ensure donor comfort and appreciation, snacks and refreshments were provided to all participants after donation.
Staff of B5 Plus Limited actively participated in the exercise from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., demonstrating strong commitment to the humanitarian initiative and contributing significantly to the success of the event.

Chairman and Founder of B5 Plus Limited, Mukesh V. Thakwani, was present during the exercise and commended the organisers, medical team, and participants for their dedication towards supporting National Blood Service Ghana.
Speaking during the exercise, Mr. Thakwani stated, “Giving blood is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to save lives. We are proud to support this initiative and encourage more people to volunteer and make a difference in their communities.”

By the close of the exercise, a total of 45 people had successfully donated blood. Mr. Thakwani expressed admiration at the impressive turnout and praised the collaborative effort that ensured the exercise was carried out smoothly and professionally without any challenges.
