The Western Regional Table Tennis Association on Friday 18th May, 2018 held a Clinic and Competition for basic schools at the Sekondi Youth Center. The events which started around 9am saw over 100 kids taken through some basic skills and drills in table tennis such as bouncing, multi-ball feeding, rallies, warm-up, stretching, warm down, racket gripping and also the benefit of engaging in table tennis. The edifice which was built prior to the 2008 African Cup of Nations has not seen any improvement and currently nears collapsing whereas some facilities at the stadium are not in good shape.
