The sacked Electoral Commission (EC) Chairperson, Charlotte Osei, awarded contracts far in excess of the approved amount by the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), the committee that recommended her removal has stated. The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has banned the use of selective weedicide called dimethilamine salt, popularly known as two, 4D or ‘Asomu’ in Twi, on all cocoa farms in the country because it is injurious to health.
