Cheetah FC have landed a sponsorship deal with the Ghanaian pharmaceutical company for a period of one year that start from June 1, 2021. Bedita Pharmaceutical Limited thus becomes the official pharmaceutical partner of Cheetah FC to provide the healthcare need of the team’s players. Former Asante Kotoko winger Maxwell Baakoh has joined Libyan side Al Madina SC. The 25-year old has joined the Tripoli based club from Egypt Premier League outfit Ceramica Cleopatra FC. Since joining Cleopatra FC in December, 2020 from Asante Kotoko, Baakoh has been struggling to get regular playing time hence the decision to leave for Libya. The former Karela United talisman managed only two appearances out of 22 in the Egyptian top-flight this season. Details of the sponsorship deal is not yet know but a cheque of Gh¢100,000.00 was presented to the club on Sunday, May 23, 2021. The deal comes few hours that the club unveiled their new 66-seater bus ahead of the last nine matches in the Division One League.
