The Technical University Teachers’ Association of Ghana (TUTAG) have declared to embark on a nationwide strike starting from Monday, June 14, 2021. According to the group, this has become necessary because the government has failed to give teachers a new conditions of service hence the decision to go on strike as a sign of expressing their grievances. In a statement, TUTAG is saying that though the government has agreed for its members to enjoy same conditions just like the traditional universities, the decision is yet to be implemented.
