Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has expressed his bewilderment on monies spent by the government towards the construction of the famous national cathedral. The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that it will conduct an auditing on its meters very soon. As part of the field survey, ECG, in a statement, said officials will be deployed to update customer information. With postpaid customers who have meters but do not receive bills alongside those who do not purchase credit and those having faulty meters among others are encouraged to report to the its offices for rectification. Eleven cases of the novel coronavirus has been recorded in the Western Region according to the regional deputy director of Public Health, Mr Gifty Amugi. This comes as a wake up call to residents of the region after restrictions on the fight against the pandemic was eased. According to the Ghana Health Service (GHS), a total of 471 cases have been recorded nationwide from May 25 to June 7, 2022.
