The Youth and Sports Ministry have sent goodwill message to Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold ahead of their Africa campaign. The two Ghana Premier League sides will begin their Africa campaign this weekend with Asante Kotoko facing Kano Pillars of Nigeria at the Sani Abacha Sports Stadium. The GNPC Foundation have handed over a six unit classroom block to the Daboase Senior High Technical School in the Wassa East district of the Western region. The facility is to provide relief and serene atmosphere for about 300 pupils who prior to GNPC Foundation’s intervention were learning under a dilapidated and old-fashioned school block. Ghana will be partaking in fourteen disciplines during the 2019 African Games which will be hosted in the capital city of Morocco, Rabat. The Competition scheduled for August 17-29, 2019 will see Ghana airlifting about ninety-five athletes to Morocco to represent the country in fourteen disciplines. The sector minister who double as the Member of Parliament for the Constituency cut the sod on Sunday in a short ceremony.
