Musa Lamidi, 27, was placed under remand at a correctional facility on Wednesday by an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan for the suspected murder of his father, Rufai. Lamidi, who did not have a definite residence, was accused of murder. The Western Central Regional Police Command has arrested three individuals for unlawful possession of arms and ammunition during an operation on April 30, 2025, at Bowodie-Wassa Akropong. The suspects—Hakeem Imoro, Imoro Tahiru, and Nurideen Wahab—were intercepted while traveling aboard a Grand Bird Bus with registration number AS 4431-22, en route to Wassa Akropong.
