Ghana Police Service has launched an investigations into the kidnapping of 39-year-old Ghanaian hairdresser in viral video who was beaten with a machete by her Nigerian kidnappers.
The Ghana Police Service has officially started conducting investigations into how the hairdresser Ama Serwa Konadu landed in Nigeria. The victim was seen in the viral video been assaulted mercilessly.
Ama Serwa Konadu hails from Akyem Asiakwa in the Abuakwa South Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The disturbing case came to light after a viral video surfaced showing Ama Serwaa being tortured by her captors.
The captors claimed to be holding her in Nigeria and demanded a ransom of GHS 500,000 for her release.
