Bechem United talisman Augustine Okrah has rejected a call-up to the Black Stars for a four-nation tournament in Japan.
Ghana will participate in the Krinn tournament in the Asian continent alongside Chile, Tunisia and Japan.
And as part of strengthening squad for the tournament, coach Otto Addo recalled Augustine Okrah to the Black Stars camp but the winger has rejected the invitation.
The former Asante Kotoko winger was part of the initial Black Stars squad for 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Central African Republic.

He dropped from the squad for the two matches alongside Hearts of Oak attacker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Joseph Aidoo of Celta Vigo who was injured.
Afriyie Barnieh who also was axed from the team, has been recalled and currently on his way to Japan but Augustine Okrah has refused according to Bechem United official.
“I spoke to Okrah to go but the player says he won’t play and not ready to go”, Bechem United CEO Lord Ziko told the media.
The Krinn tournament in Japan is to serve as preparation for the Black Stars ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar where Ghana will be facing Portugal, Uruguay and Korea Republic.
The Krinn tournament has been slated for June 10-14, 2022 and Ghana will face Japan in the semifinal before meeting either Chile or Tunisia.
