AshantiGold Sporting Club have been dealt a huge blow as midfielder Appiah Maccarthy has been ruled out for several weeks.
The talented midfielder picked an injury during AshantiGold Sporting Club 2:5 defeat to Legon Cities FC last Friday.[ads2]
”He can’t play next match,” AshGold’s team doctor George Chidi told Oyerepa FM.
”After the examination it’s most likely he sustained lateral collateral ligament injury.[ads3]
”I am expecting to receive the MRI result by today but he could be out for 6 to 8 weeks.”
Appiah Maccarthy has bagged three goals so far this season for AshantiGold Sporting Club, all from set pieces.[ads5]
