Ghana Premier League giant, Asante Kotoko will be departing for Sudan on Sunday, January 3, 2021 for CAF Champions League game against Al Hilal.
Asante Kotoko lost the first leg of the second preliminary round by a goal to nil at the Accra Sports Stadium and will have to return the deficit before securing a spot in the money zone.[ads2]
Coach Johnson Smith and his charges will depart Ghana on Sunday to prepare for the second leg fixture to be held in Omdurman.
Kotoko are confident of returning the deficit to make it to the group stages of the competition for the first time since 2006.[ads3]
Failure to beat Al Hilal in Sudan will see the Ghana Premier League record holders dropping to the CAF Confederation Cup.
