After an astonishing 3-0 defeat to Etoile du Sahel in the second-leg of the CAF Champions League, Asante Kotoko have scheduled to land in Ghana on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.
The Porcupine Warriors have been relegated to the CAF Confederation Cup after suffering a 3-0 defeat to the Sahel based club in Monastir on Sunday.

However, coach Kjetil Zachariassen’ side will arrive in Ghana on Tuesday afternoon without seven of their players; Felix Annan, Augustine Okrah, Patrick Yeboah, Richard Arthur, Habib Mohammed, Emmanuel Gyamfi and Justice Blay who will leave for Senegal to join the Black Stars ‘B’ team in the WAFU Cup.
The team will fly from Tunisia to Morocco and proceed to Ghana with Air Moroc to prepare for their yet to be announced CAF Confederation Cup opponent.
