Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have offloaded five players ahead of the new league season, according to media reports.
The Porcupine Warriors have reportedly released defender Augustine Sefah after the expiration of his contract.

The experienced right-back has been denied a new contract after failing to impress head coach Maxwell Konadu.
Former Wa All Stars [Now Legon Cities FC) duo Richard Arthur and Matthew Kelvin Andoh have also been farmed out of Asante Kotoko ahead of the start of the new league season.

Former Black Stars defender Abass Mohammed has also been ejected from the club after missing the whole of last season due to injuries.
Abass Mohammed have been deemed surplus to requirement and has been told to leave the club and seek for new challenge elsewhere.
Last on the list is youngster Douglas Owusu Ansah who has had his contract with Asante Kotoko terminated.

The five players have been told to seek for new challenge elsewhere ahead of the 2020/2021 league season which start on November 13, 2020.
It is believed that additional five players will be offloaded by Asante Kotoko before the new season commence.
Asante Kotoko have already signed Emmanuel Keyekeh from Karela United, Kwame Opoku, Emmanuel Sarkodie, Yusif Mubarik and are keen on landing Latif Anabila who had his contract with AshantiGold SC expired.
Asante Kotoko will be representing Ghana in the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign.
