Kumasi Asante Kotoko have written to Karela United for the services of defender Ampem Dacosta, Kyfilla.com can exclusively reveal.
The 21-year old remains a top target for the Porcupines as they are determined to beef up squad for the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign.
According to an insider at Karela United, management of the Porcupine Warriors have written to the Ayinase based side to enquire about the availability of the center back.
Reliable source divulges that, Asante Kotoko are bent to secure the signature of the 21-year old based on recommendations from the head coach C.K Akonnor.
Ampem Dacosta was spectacular for Karela United during their clash against Asante Kotoko in the NC Special Competition tier 1 final even though they lost on penalty shootouts.
Dacosta who joined Karela United from lower tier side Wassaman United is currently the skipper and the most capped player for the Crosby Awuah Memorial lads.
