Management member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Edmund Ackah has denied reports of his outfit talking to Elmina Sharks for winger Benjamin Tweneboah.
It was earlier making rounds on various Ghanaian web portals that, the Porcupine Warriors have opened negotiations with the Elmina based team for the services of the star winger to beef up squad for the CAF Champions League campaign next season.
According to Edmund Ackah, Asante Kotoko have not even express interest in the midfielder not to talk of opening negotiations with Elmina Sharks for his signature.
“Its never true we (Asante Kotoko) are discussing Benjamin Tweneboah, it has not come up on our table”, Edmund Ackah told Oyerepa FM.
Meanwhile, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have secured the sole right to represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League after beating Karela United in the NC Special Competition tier 1 final on last Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
