Kumasi Asante Kotoko have broken camp after clinching the NC Special Competition tier 1 trophy and booking next season’s CAF Champions League slot.
The Porcupine Warriors urged Karela United to a 4:1 victory on penalty shootouts to emerge champions of the NC Special Competition tier 1 but were booted out in the semi-finals of the tier 2 by regional rivals Ashgold.
The technical team headed by coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor have handed the players a two-week break after a hectic NC Special Competitions.
The team have scheduled to resume camping in the second week of July to prepare for the yet to be announced Ghana Premier League season and the 2019/20 CAF Champions League.
