AS Roma teenager Felix Afena-Gyan has been invited to the Black Stars for 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria.
The speedy attacker haa been handed the invitation for the crucial games after rejecting previous call-ups.
Afena-Gyan confirmed his Black Stars invitation in a social media, announcing his readiness to join the team’s camp for the playoff games. 
He has been in a blistering form since making his debut the Rome-based club in October last year.
Afena-Gyan has scored two goals in 12 league games this season for AS Roma and touted contribute greatly in the playoff games.
The Black Stars will begin camping for the crunchy encounter on Monday with majority of the invited players set to arrive on Sunday evening.
The team will travel to Kumasi to the continue preparations for the first leg tie which takes place on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The second leg will come off at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
