Ghana Premier league heavyweight, Asante Kotoko have been ordered by the Players and Coaches Statutes Committee to pay a whopping Gh¢32,000.00 to former defender and Youth Team coach Richard Manu.
Manu popularly known as ’90-90′ was appointed the head coach of the Asante Kotoko Youth Team on a five-year deal in 2019.
But he was sacked after only two years in charge of the youth team when new management team headed by Nana Yaw Amponsah took over.
Manu then dragged Asante Kotoko to the Ghana FA Players and Coaches Statutes Committee demanding for his unpaid salaries, signing-on fees and fuel allowances.
And in their verdict sent to Asante Kotoko today, the Players and Coaches Statutes Committee of the Ghana FA has ordered the Porcupines to pay the former defender Gh¢20,000 as signing-on fees, Gh¢9,000 as unpaid salaries and Gh¢3,000 as fuel allowances, making Gh¢32,000.00.
Asante Kotoko have been given fourteen days to make the payment of faces the wrath of the Players and Coaches Statutes Committee.
Asante Kotoko were days ago ordered by the Ghana FA Players and Statutes Committee to pay judgement debts to former players Maxwell Baakoh and Kwame Bonsu Conte.
The club has also paid judgement debts to former players Matthew Kelvin Andoh, Stephen Ayiku Tetteh and Evans Owusu and also former coach Maxwell Konadu..[ads5]
