Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew was the messiah for Swansea City as they defeated Brentford 1:0 in the English Championship playoffs.
Ayew scored the only goal for the Swans to put them ahead going into the return fixture.

The first half ended in a goalless despite both sides eagerness to find the net of the other but all attempts to no avail.
Andre Ayew had the chance to open the score for the home side through a spot kick in the 64th minute but his strike was beautifully saved by goalkeeper David Raya.

The Black Stars skipper managed to secure victory for Swansea City with a terrific strike in the 82nd minute.
Andre Ayew has now scored 18 goals in 46 matches for Swansea City.
