Former Hearts of Oak captain Amankwah Mireku has picked Imoro Ibrahim ahead of Dennis Korsah in the best left back debate.
Football lovers and connoisseurs of the Ghana league have sparked a contentious argument as to who is the best between the two defenders.
Many believed that Imoro Ibrahim had a scintillating campaign for Asante Kotoko in the just ended league season which makes him a better left-back compared to Dennis Korsah of Hearts of Oak and vice versa.
However, Amankwah Mireku who captained Hearts of Oak for glory in Africa has chosen Imoro Ibrahim as his best left-back ahead of Dennis Korsah who had a Black Stars call-up during the league season due to his amazing showdown for the Phobians.
But to Amankwah Mireku, he will on any day love to have the two players in his team but will pick Imoro Ibrahim if he is supposed to select one of the them due to his additional qualities as left-back.
“Every coach has his style of play and can decide to go in for the two players. Korsah (Dennis) is very good same as Imoro (Ibrahim) and I will love to have all of them in my team, but if am to select one of them then I will go for Imoro Ibrahim because of his additional qualities”, Amankwah Mireku said on Wontumi Radio in Kumasi.
