Saudi Arabian giants Al Ahli Jeddah are reportedly interested in Asante Kotoko stalwart defender Abdul Ganiyu.
Ganiyu is said to have attracted interest from numerous of clubs abroad after a spontaneous performance with the Black in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.[ads2]
According to multiple reports, Al Ahli Jeddah will be presenting an offer of about UD$850,000 to Asante Kotoko for the services of the dependable centre-back.
It is believed that not only Al Ahli Jeddah are interested in the former Karela United defender rather two top-notch unnamed clubs in South Africa have also shown interest.[ads3]
Abdul Ganiyu has been consistent in the Asante Kotoko defence since joining the team from Karela United on a three-year deal in October, 2018.
He has since cemented his position in the club due to his incredible qualities as a defender.[ads4]
His outstanding performance earned him a Black Stars invitation for the 2021 AFCON qualifiers where he performed extraordinary in the two matches against South Africa and Sao Tome and Princepe.[ads5]
