It all ended in a goalless when Asante Kotoko faced Aduana Stars in week 27 of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Kotoko were playing as visitors to Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park, a venue the Porcupines have failed to get a win in recent years.
The tension in Dormaa was very intensed prior to the game as the two sides were eager to ditch the other for the three maximum points.
Kotoko needed the three points to leapfrog bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak to the top of the league table but only managed to get a point.
The two sides came in very strong to tame the other, creating some decent chances but failed to make good use of the opportunities.
Asante Kotoko are now leading the league log with just a point ahead of Hearts of Oak who will be playing at home against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday…[ads5]
