Ghana Premier League outfit Aduana Stars have denied media reportage that coach Felix Aboagye has been sacked.
Reports in the media were that the Dormaa-based club have parted ways with the astute tactician over poor performance.
But speaking to Kyfilla.com, the Communications Director of Aduana Stars, Evans Oppong denied the reports, stating that coach Felix Aboagye is still in charge.
“He [Felix Aboagye] has not been sacked, we don’t know where that reports are coming from. He is still at post and even supervised the team’s training today”, Oppong told Kyfilla.com in an interview.
Felix Aboagye, a former Inter Allies and Great Olympics coach joined Aduana Stars last month – taking over from Ben Bessa Zola until the end of the league season.
The Ogya Boys are still determined to clinch this season’s league title despite twelve points separating them and league leaders Asante Kotoko.
Aduana Stars sit third in the Ghana Premier League log with forty points after twenty-five matches.
