Aduana FC have made a significant move in the summer transfer window, securing the services of midfielder Charles Kamara Gyamfi from Ghana Premier League rivals Bibiani Goldstars. The 25-year-old joins the Ogya lads on a two-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year, marking his return to the club after a previous stint in 2021.
Following a disappointing 2024/25 season, where the two-time Ghana Premier League champions finished ninth, Aduana FC are aggressively reinforcing their squad for the upcoming campaign. Kamara becomes the fourth addition in this transfer window, joining Berekum Chelsea trio Gregory Obeng Sekyere, Mezack Afriyie, and Godfred Boakye.
The club announced the signing on X, stating: “Aduana FC has officially signed gifted attacking midfielder Charles Kamara Gyamfi from Bibiani Gold Stars on a 2-year deal, with an option to extend for one more year.”
Kamara, a key figure in Bibiani Goldstars’ historic Ghana Premier League title win, brings a wealth of experience with 115 appearances, five goals, and 11 assists in the domestic top-flight. The versatile midfielder is expected to play a pivotal role for the Dormaa-based side as they aim to reclaim their position among the league’s elite.
