Fast-selling Ghanaian energy drink, Adonko Next Level will be headlining the 2020 edition of the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association’s Man Ghana.
This comes after a deal was signed between the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association and management of Angel Group of Companies (Manufactures of Adonko Next Level) on Tuesday morning.

Speaking after signing the deal, the Marketing Director of Angle Group of Companies, Mr. Vincent Opare stated that, “As part of the sponsorship deal, we are giving some cartons of the highly recommended Adonko Next Level Energy Drink to the GBFA for the Man Ghana 2020 Bodybuilding Competition. Also we are giving some undisclosed amount of money for the organisation of the event.”
He added that, “We are also looking to supporting the GBFA in any way we can when they are travelling to South Africa next year for the Arnold Classic Competition.”

The President of the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association, Abdul Hayye Yartey expressed his gratitude to the officials of Angel Group of Companies for accepting to headline the event.
He said that, “I must say that I am the happiest man today because we all know how we struggle for sponsorship for our least financed sports in this country. We as an association are happy that Next Level Energy Drink have also come on to sponsor this year’s Competition. Not only that, they have come on board as the headline sponsor”, Yartey mentioned.
“I will like to use this opportunity to thank Dr. Kweku Oteng and the executives of Angel Group of Companies, producers of Next Level Energy Drink, for this gesture. We want to assure them that we will give them the necessary support”, he added.
Mr. Vincent Opare, Marketing Director of Angel Group of Companies and Ben Buckman who is the Area Sales Manager (Accra East), signed the deal on behalf of Angel Group of Companies whiles the President of the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association, Abdul Hayye Yartey and the Association’s Treasurer, George Fausta Baffoe signed the documents on behalf of the GBFA.

This year’s Competition will be held on Saturday, 7th November 2020 at the Osu Presbyterian Church Hall at 7pm with some popular Ghanaian musicians performing on the night.
This year’s will serve as avenue to select athletes for the Black Muscles, the national bodybuilding team.
This year’s event is under the theme ‘Peaceful Contest’ which is aimed at spreading the message of violent free elections in the upcoming December polls.
