Norway-born Ghanaian goalkeeper, Adam Kwarasey has expressed his readiness to return to the Black Stars if given an invitation.
The 32-year old netminder has been away from the Black Stars since he was dropped from Ghana’s squad for the 2017 AFCON due to injury.

Following his continuous snub from the Black Stars, it came out that the former Rosenberg goalkeeper has regretted deciding to play for Ghana ahead of Norway.
But the once upon a time Ghana’s first-choice goalkeeper has denied the reportage, stating that it was a privilege donning the Black Stars jersey to represent Ghana both in the AFCON and the FIFA World Cup.

“That’s not true at all. Am really happy and grateful that I have been allowed to represent Ghana,” Kwarasey told Citi FM..
“I love wearing that jersey and, for me, that was the only thing I have ever wanted in terms of national team football”, Kwarasey added.

Adam Kwarasey had his debut Black Stars call-up in July 2011 in a friendly against Nigeria but the match was called off due to security reasons.
He was later called for the 2012 AFCON qualifier against Swaziland.
Kwarasey went ahead to cap 24 times for Ghana and represented the country in the 2012 AFCON and the FIFA World Cup in 2014.
