Ghana Premier League newbies, Accra Lions have announced the transfer of striker Rauf Salifu to Major League Soccer giants Sporting Kansas City.
The 19-year-old goal-getter has joined the American side with immediate effect on a season-long loan with an option to buy at the end of 2022.[ads2]
Rauf has been the best goalscorer in the history of the club so far.
His 21 goals in the 2020-21 Division One League season guided Accra Lions to the league title and promotion to this season’s Ghana Premier League.[ads5]
