The 2025/26 season of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League is scheduled to begin on October 31, 2025, and run through to April 27, 2026.
This year’s competition will feature 20 elite women’s football clubs, divided into two zones Northern and Southern with 10 teams in each.
Reigning champions Police Ladies will be aiming to defend their crown against strong challengers, including former champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies, who are keen to reclaim the title.
The league also welcomes four newly promoted sides: Pearlpia Ladies and Ashtown Ladies join the Northern Zone, while Oak Ladies and Samartex Ladies compete in the Southern Zone.
With continued backing from headline sponsor Malta Guinness and key partners such as Nasco Electronics, the upcoming season is expected to serve fans with exciting fixtures, intense rivalries, and remarkable displays of women’s football talent.
