Ghanaian boxer, Bukom Banku has lambasted Sarkodie for endorsing President Akufo-Addo ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Rapper Sarkodie endorsed President Akufo-Addo in his recent song titled “Happy Day” which he featured reigning VGMA artiste of the year Kuami Eugene.[ads2]
In the song, Sarkodie stated that President Akufo-Addo has done extraordinary well with his free Senior High School policy and would be happy to see the president retaining the seat in the forthcoming general elections.
“If I talked and complained about ‘Dumsor’ and I also hit on inflation but today if there is electricity and my kids will go to school free, then Nana ‘toaso’ (Nana continue)”, Sarkodie said in the song.[ads3]
But it seems Bukom Banku and colleague boxer Ayitey Powers are not happy with Sarkodie endorsing the sitting President for another term as the December polls beckons.
In a video going viral on social media, Bukom Banku and Ayitey Powers have heavily insulted Sarkodie and Samini for endorsing President Akufo-Addo.[ads4]
“Ghana is going backwards and Sarkodie and Samini are endorsing Akufo-Addo…. You’re a fool”, Banku and Powers said in the video..
